Currently, one of the most ambitious change processes in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, approximately 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on this journey.

Welcome to develop with us

Are you ready for the next step in your career? There is now an opportunity to become part of our intervention team, consisting of experienced social secretaries and a team leader.

Haninge Municipality is a forward-thinking municipality. In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-line social services structure, a step in our adaptation to the future of social services and the new Social Services Act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by investigations. In our work, we focus on the target group, investigating and coordinating interventions based on evidence-based and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors.

The operation consists of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact operations. Each unit is led by a unit manager and the groups are led by team leaders. We work in a family-oriented and team-based manner for the benefit of our children and young people.

Those of us who work here are knowledgeable and engaged in our work. We care about each other and value having a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal certainty, and we believe it is important to develop in our work.

In order to strengthen our quality and create conditions for you as a social secretary to use your competence resource-efficiently and with the best interests of children and young people in focus, we have chosen to invest in the following support functions:

  • A well-established structure for regular support such as case reviews and external supervision.
  • Specialist social workers with an operation-wide assignment within areas such as method support, implementation, introduction, and recurring training.
  • A structured introduction plan for new employees.
  • Business developers as support in our continued development with target group-oriented working methods.
  • SIP coordinators as support to strengthen the quality of SIP meetings and ensure that children and young people who need SIP meetings are offered them.
  • Placement coordinators as support in seeking external placement forms and handling contracts.
  • Administrators with the task of relieving and supporting social secretaries.
  • Extended work with risk and needs assessments to detect and counteract children being drawn into crime.
  • A structure that enables remote work for those who wish and based on the operation's needs.

As a key colleague is going on parental leave, we are now looking for a social secretary on a fixed-term contract for the HVB group, who together with us wants to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.

The HVB group is part of the intervention team belonging to the unit for interventions and special functions. As a social secretary in the HVB group, you are responsible for follow-ups of interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law of Care of Young Persons (LVU). The interventions are largely institutional placements such as HVB, SiS, and supported housing, but also some types of emergency foster care placements and certain types of open care when young people move home. You are driven by working in an operational and quality-developing manner, and work according to current legislation and delegation. We work in close cooperation with the young person and their network, and the work is carried out with the support of BBIC, Signs of Safety, and SAVRY. The work includes close collaboration with internal and external partners.

This position is a one-year fixed-term contract.

You need the ability to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when others around you are stressed.

We are looking for someone who can see the possibilities in complex social work, is good at collaborating, is flexible, curious, and has the child's best interests in focus. We see it as a given that you are responsible, have integrity, and think quality is important.
