The Finance Department is part of the Municipal Executive Office, with an attractive workplace in central Karlskoga! The department's three units, budget and follow-up, accounting, and procurement, have a total of 30 employees. It is important to us that you find a balance between work and everyday life. RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who are an economist and want to work with varied tasks within budgeting, follow-up, financial management, and development. You will be an addition to the budget and follow-up unit, which is part of the Finance Department.
Within budgeting and follow-up, you will have a supporting role in budgeting and follow-up towards one or more administrations. This requires your analytical and consultative approach to work. Part of the job is continuous improvement to develop the unit's processes and systems. For this, your systematic approach and attention to detail will come in handy, as well as the ability to see connections and collaborate.
QUALIFICATIONS
You should have a university-level education in economics.
Experience from working with similar tasks, preferably within politically governed operations, is meritorious but not a requirement. You can express yourself well orally and in writing and have good IT skills. You are accustomed to working with Office, especially Excel.
As a person, you are structured by, among other things, working according to a clear process, organizing and planning your work well, completing what has been started, and meeting deadlines. We see that you are result-oriented, driving, and have good analytical skills. You can identify risks, see opportunities for improvement, and enjoy working close to the operations. You are self-reliant and enjoy working both independently and in a group. Having high integrity is a given.
Since the work takes place in close cooperation and daily communication with managers and colleagues, it is required that you are receptive and cooperative. We value communicative and pedagogical skills, both orally and in writing. The position involves many contact surfaces in the municipality, and to succeed in the role, we believe you are an experienced relationship builder, enjoy many contact surfaces, and collaborating with others.

Employment type: Permanent employment.
