Exciting things are happening at Bergska Gymnasium. Next academic year, we are launching our new Emergency Services Profile within the Social Sciences program – a unique initiative where societal issues meet safety, preparedness, and human well-being. We are now looking for you who want to be involved from the start and develop this profile together with us.

We are looking for a certified teacher in Social Studies and Religion who wants to be involved in the development of our Social Sciences program, and especially our new Emergency Services Profile. The profile is based on current and socially important thematic areas such as:

• Law & Order – the chain of justice in practice
• Societal Protection & Preparedness – total defense in times of crisis and war
• Emergency Interventions – rescue services and pre-hospital care
• Social Sustainability – support, protection, and social work
• Mental Health, Crisis Management, and Trauma
• Digital Security and Psychological Defense – cybersecurity and disinformation

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who

• is a certified teacher in Social Studies and Religion
• is development-oriented and enjoys creating new working methods together with colleagues
• wants to contribute to making the Social Sciences program attractive and relevant for today's youth
• has good communication skills and feels confident in meetings with students, guardians, and external partners
• enjoys representing the school at events such as high school fairs, open houses, and other marketing initiatives

Additional qualifications in Philosophy, Psychology, or Sociology are meritorious.
