We are looking for summer substitutes for Brahevägen, Fredriksberg, and Fredriksäng.

The operations consist of two group homes in Stenkullen and one service apartment in Floda. A total of eleven people with intellectual disabilities of mixed ages live in the group homes. The operations are highly focused on activities and social interaction. Everything from various excursions, both near and far, to parties, barbecue evenings, and crafts at home. Seven people live in the service apartment, where individual activities are more common, but evenings and nice summer days are great opportunities for shared togetherness.

Your Role

In the role of support assistant, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time.

Your tasks include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

The employment degree is approximately 75–100%. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, night (sleeping on-call), and weekends.

Your Qualifications

You preferably have a high school education in care and nursing or another education considered equivalent, such as child and youth care. Experience working with this target group is an advantage.

You see opportunities, have a positive outlook, and a strong commitment to people. The work requires that you are responsible and have personal maturity. You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and consider it natural to contribute to a positive work climate. You are computer literate and have experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type: Monthly employment during the summer months with the possibility of hourly employment after the summer period.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
