Your new workplace

INM in Lund is a general psychiatric outpatient clinic for patients aged 18 and older, in need of specialized psychiatric care, residing in Lund or Kävlinge. The mission within specialized psychiatry is to offer assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with complex psychiatric issues, acting as a interface with primary care. We are now expanding the general psychiatric team with another nurse.

The operations consist of cross-professional teams, and you will work together with other nursing colleagues, doctors, psychologists, care assistants, social workers, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and administrative staff.

Working as a nurse at INM Lund

The nurse's role is central, and together with your medical colleagues, you are responsible for the patient's medical care and treatment. You participate in the patient's care planning and collaborate with care partners and relatives in the patient's network. The duties include psychiatric nursing work such as assessment of health status and nursing needs, crisis and support conversations, somatic checks, medical follow-up, blood sampling, and ECG when necessary.

Your work also includes supervising nursing students.

Your most important contribution is made in the meeting with the patients, which is why we have administrative staff and clear routines that free up time for your specialist competence to shine.

About you

  • Registered Nurse, preferably with specialization in psychiatry
  • Experience within psychiatry
  • Step 1 in CBT is meritorious

You are accustomed to working independently and thrive on taking initiative and developing the work forward. At the same time, you are sensitive and value participation and collaboration with other professional groups. You have a positive attitude and value the social work environment and team spirit.

You are interested in knowing how our patients are doing and want to be involved in how we best improve and develop the care.
