Kunskapsskolan Enköping is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 550 students. The school started in 2001, and in 2020 we moved into completely new, state-of-the-art facilities a stone's throw from the railway and bus station. In order for every student to reach as far as possible, we need professionally skilled teachers with a great commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and we are therefore looking for you who always work actively to ensure your students succeed.

In addition to being a subject teacher, you are also a personal advisor to about twenty students, and we allocate time in the schedule for you as a teacher to have advisory meetings every week with all your students. The conversations give you as a teacher a unique opportunity to catch up with your students and give each one the support they need to do well and achieve their goals.

Just as it is fantastic and fun to be a teacher, it can also be tough and challenging. It is nice not to be alone then. At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced teamwork where we share both setbacks and successes. You are never alone with challenges and questions, neither in subject teaching nor with individual students or groups. We help each other plan the work in working groups and subject groups. The openness between teachers is great, and we have a shared responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on the students, we have collected a large part of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials. We also have analog books linked to the subjects. All students have access to their own Chromebook.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 4-6. You should be well acquainted with Lgr-22 and formative assessment.

Desirable qualifications

We would like you to have a few years of experience in teaching and advising or mentoring. Above all, we want you to have clear leadership skills and be easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians. We are looking for you who see the glass as half full rather than half empty.
