I am 23 years old, an active and positive young woman living just outside Uppsala. I am currently looking for a new personal assistant starting from August 1, 2026.

I enjoy shopping, going on outings, hanging out with friends, and walking our dogs. During the day, I attend day activity (DV), and you will accompany me there.

I need assistance with all daily tasks. This includes personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, feeding via gastrostomy, transfers (using a ceiling hoist, though manual lifting is also used), and other daily routines.

I am an active person, so this is not a job where you sit still all day. I use a wheelchair and an electric wheelchair, and I communicate using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and sign language. Therefore, it is important that you are patient and have a warm, encouraging manner. I am also very skilled at communicating.

Who are you?

You are a secure, calm, and responsible person who enjoys helping others. You have a good sense of humor, are detail-oriented, and are good at building relationships. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus – but most importantly, you have a willingness to learn and a commitment to making a difference in someone else's daily life.

Important to know

• There are fur animals in the home – so you should not be allergic.
• We are only seeking female assistants.
• A driver's license and access to a car are required (to commute to and from work and for driving during work hours).
• You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Working hours:

Weekdays: 07:00–16:00, 16:00–22:00, and weekends/holidays: 07:00–17:00 or 12:00–22:00.

We are currently looking for someone interested in an 80% position, which means shifts will include weekends, evenings, and daytime hours.
