Mölndal Culture School is a cutting-edge creative activity that engages approximately 1,800 children in music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and film. We have a well-developed choir and orchestra activity and extensive collaboration with schools and preschools. We aim to be a meeting place where children's and young people's cultural expression is developed and allowed to shine and take a place in the city's cultural life. Therefore, stage activities are a natural part of the students' education. Our staff consists of approximately 60 teachers plus management and administrative personnel.

We work strategically with school development through student participation and inquiry-based teaching. Here, we challenge our attitudes and working methods to continuously develop meaning-making activities. The school's teachers work in various groups, teams, and contexts, both subject-specific, cross-artistic, and in various collaborations with activities outside the culture school.

The leadership of the Culture School is the hub of the city's Cultural Guarantee, which is an administration-wide collaboration where all children aged 3-16 receive professional cultural experiences and activities with their own creation every year.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching in Theatre and Acting and Film for ages 9-19, as well as Advanced Theatre Course for ages 14-19. In Acting and Film, you teach together with a film pedagogue.

As a theatre teacher, you create theatre performances and cross-disciplinary events together with other teachers. You are part of a team together with teachers in dance, theatre, film, and visual arts.

The position is a part-time position at 40-50%.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a theatre teacher or drama pedagogue.

Teaching experience is desired. We contact applicants continuously during the application period.
