Oxie Health Centre is located in the center of Oxie, a suburb of Malmö in the southern district of Malmö Municipality. Oxie is located just under 10 km southeast of central Malmö with good commuting options. Here, we have 8 specialists in general practice, 3 resident doctors (ST-läkare), and junior doctors (AT-läkare) working in a well-organized doctor's office supported by nursing assistants and secretaries. We have experienced district and registered nurses with their own specialist clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, incontinence, hypertension, heart failure, and elderly care. We also have a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Additional competencies in our team include dietitians, social workers, and district nurses at our child health center.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for you, a licensed physician, for a temporary position at our unit, potentially leading to a resident doctor (ST) position in general practice. The role involves independent assessments, examinations, treatments (individually and in groups), teaching, and participation in teamwork. The work includes both traditional clinic visits and digital healthcare contacts. We offer you a positive and developmental workplace with a clear patient focus. As a licensed physician with us, you have the opportunity to have a supervisor who is a specialist in general practice, with supervision every week. There may be an opportunity to continue at the health center in the form of a resident doctor (ST) position.

We have made significant progress in digital development with a modern and mobile work environment, which includes a personal laptop with remote work capabilities, speech recognition, and the ability to hold digital patient meetings. As a licensed physician with us, you will have a standard clinic schedule with both acute and planned visits, as well as investigative patients. Your work also involves collaboration with external and internal parties, such as municipal nurses and hospitals, including SIP (Joint Implementation Plan) and home visits. We are responsible for 1 SÄBO (special housing for the elderly) and 14 LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residences.

Continuous work on business development is ongoing at the health center. Therefore, we want you to be interested in creative thinking and to be part of the development work with a focus on offering our patients the best possible care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Swedish medical license and have thus completed your AT/BT (junior doctor) training in Sweden. Previous experience from primary care is meritorious. Proficiency in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. This can also mean a passing grade in Swedish 3, alternatively a passing grade in Swedish as a Second Language 3, or a passing result on a course in Swedish for non-Nordic students equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.
