Payroll Specialist for Lerum Municipality
Lerum Municipality is known for its beautiful natural surroundings with lakes and forests. Lerum is located just a 20-minute drive from Gothenburg and is currently facing a period of intense development with many exciting projects underway, ranging from schools to housing. We are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join us at Lerum Municipality. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of a team consisting of five other colleagues and a Payroll Manager. We warmly welcome your application!

Responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist, you will work with the entire payroll process. Your main responsibilities include ongoing payroll administration, support and information to the municipality's managers and employees, contact with authorities, as well as interpretation and application of laws and agreements. We work against deadlines, and during certain periods of the month, we have workload peaks that we handle together in the best possible way.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have experience in payroll work and good knowledge of the entire payroll process. You have a relevant two-year higher vocational education (KY/YH) or equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
We see that you have experience with the payroll system Heroma and have previously worked with payroll administration within municipal operations. Experience in interpreting and applying laws, agreements, and regulations is highly meritorious. If you also have knowledge of municipal collective agreements, we see this as a big plus.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
To succeed in the role, you are structured, meticulous, and have a good ability to plan and organize your work in an efficient manner. You enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to a positive work climate through an egalitarian approach and a desire to develop together with colleagues.
We value that you are solution-oriented and have the ability to see opportunities even when faced with challenges or changed conditions. Since the operations are in a constant state of development, it is important that you are flexible, adaptable, and open to new ways of working.
You also have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
