The habilitation service area is directed towards children, young people, and adults with persistent disabilities such as mobility impairments, autism, and/or intellectual disabilities. We also address the patients' families, relatives, and staff. The operations are based on an interdisciplinary and person-centered approach, meaning our patients have full participation in the planning, evaluation, and follow-up of interventions. Various professional categories work within the service, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, social workers, special education teachers, dietitians, nurses, doctors, leisure consultants, pool managers, administrators, and medical secretaries.

At the Habilitation Clinic for Children and Young People in Lund, we serve children and young people up to the age of 18 and their families. We have approximately 30 employees at the unit, and among us, you will be one of several physiotherapists. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a physiotherapist for a fixed-term position.

In your role, you help children, young people, and their parents achieve the best possible conditions for a well-functioning daily life. Your work consists of assessing and treating children and young people with delayed and/or atypical motor skills. Furthermore, you participate in various educational and group interventions and provide guidance on motor training in daily activities, play, and other physical activities to parents and networks. You plan interventions together with the child, young person, and parents, as well as other important people in the network. Interventions are provided individually and/or in groups. The position also includes assessing the need for medical technical and orthopedic technical aids, as well as prescribing, fitting, and following up on these aids.

Upon employment, you will receive introduction and supervision from experienced colleagues at the unit and in the area, providing you with support in daily work based on your previous knowledge and experience.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 08:00-16:30, with evening hours until 18:30 on Mondays.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist/physiotherapist with the authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, as well as a valid B driving license. Furthermore, experience working with children/young people with disabilities and/or habilitation work is meritorious for the position.

To be successful in your role and thrive with us, you are a person who places great importance on children and young people being heard and their views being taken into account. It is natural for you that children are involved, and you actively work to increase and accommodate this involvement. In your work, you are self-reliant, proactive, and flexible. You have good collaboration skills as interventions are planned based on the patient's needs and together with other team members. Great importance is attached to personal suitability for the position.
