We are now welcoming a nursing assistant to the outpatient clinic within surgery and urology!

The Business Area (VO) for surgery, orthopedics, ENT, intensive and perioperative care in Ystad consists of outpatient services as well as the surgery and urology wards, and the Surgery Ward for planned operations. At the clinics, we work in teams with the patient in focus. We receive patients from primary care, inpatients, and from other hospitals within Region Skåne.

Job Description

In the role of nursing assistant with us, you help assist with examinations together with doctors. You handle everything related to the patients such as reception, information, and sample collection. On the urology side, there is also the opportunity for your own clinic one day a week. As a nursing assistant with us, you take great responsibility and have the opportunity to develop in your role.

You are important for patients to feel safe during their visit with us. You exude calmness and have an easy time seeing what the individual person needs during their visit.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Preferably with a focus on emergency care/healthcare. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Previous work within outpatient services and knowledge of Melior and PASiS are meritorious for the position.

This is a position for you who are flexible and like to work at more than one clinic. We value that you have a good attitude, a high willingness to serve, and good social competence. You take your own initiatives for improvements that contribute to the development of the unit's work, and you have a desire to develop both your professional role and your knowledge within your profession. Furthermore, you have a holistic view of the work and the patient with a good ability to prioritize and collaborate. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Important for the team is that you can see the whole picture in the work and that you are a good team player.

Employment type: Permanent employment.

If you have not yet received your proof of protected professional title, grades (not just a diploma) from your nursing assistant education must be attached. If you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, and lack proof, attach your employment certificate as well as your grades (not just a diploma) from your nursing assistant education.

You need to show proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed on July 1, 2023. If you do not have this proof, you will be employed as a care assistant and the employment will be fixed-term, pending the proof.
