Job Description

As a Social Secretary at the unit for addiction and social psychiatry with a focus on addiction, the tasks involve investigating applications and reports according to the Social Services Act and LVM (Care of Abusers of Intoxicants Act) concerning persons with harmful use and addiction. The role also includes continuous follow-up of interventions with systematic monitoring, as well as collaboration with relatives, service providers, and internal and external partners, primarily using the Coordinated Individual Plan (CIP/SIP).

Qualifications

• Experience working with authority exercises within harmful use and addiction.
• Experience and good knowledge of work related to LVM legislation.
• Social Worker degree or equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent.

Merits

• Training in MI (Motivational Interviewing), ASI, UBÅT, FREDA, and DUR.
• Experience working with co-morbidity, as well as other experience within social services and/or experience with the target group.
• Experience within social psychiatry.

About Us

The Social Services Office in Sollentuna is a social services department at the forefront of development and innovation. We work to develop an evidence-based social services system, where follow-up instruments and quality issues are in focus. Environmental scanning, collaboration, user participation, and development are prioritized areas.

Approximately 230 people work at the Social Services Office in Sollentuna. The operation is divided into four departments; the Adult Department, the Children and Youth Department, the Support and Development Department, and FOU Northwest.

The unit for addiction and social psychiatry is one of six units within the Adult Department. The unit currently consists of five Social Secretaries with a focus on harmful use and addiction and six Social Secretaries with a focus on social psychiatry. The Adult Unit has a total of 11 Social Secretaries, two team leaders, and a unit manager.
