Just 150 meters from Linköping Central Station lies Scandic Frimurarehotellet – the hotel where tradition meets the future. Located just next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings, our modern and relaxed hotel dates back to 1912. The hotel is the largest in Östergötland and hosts everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets. We have nearly a hundred employees here, originating from all over the world, just like our guests. Being a large hotel and having joint management with the other three Scandic hotels in Linköping creates excellent development opportunities for our staff.
We are now looking for a Breakfast Host to join Scandic Frimurarehotellet.
Regardless of why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience.
Here, you will take significant responsibility for making the decisions required to ensure guest satisfaction. The team develops and improves working methods and service in line with changes in the external environment. We are convinced that it is when you are given the opportunity to develop and contribute with all your competence and experience that we exceed guest expectations. Plus, we have fun at work!
So bring your experience, your commitment, and your way of thinking to us – and contribute to a culture where we truly care: about each other, our guests, and our planet. Welcome to Scandic!
What does the role involve?
Your primary role is to support operations within our food and beverage departments with various operational tasks, allowing the employees closest to the guest to focus fully on providing world-class service. Your duties include simple cooking, preparation, serving, and keeping the kitchen and public areas tidy. You ensure that dishwashing, cleaning, and self-control processes run smoothly in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals.
Who are you?
To fit this role, we believe you have at least one year of experience in similar work, as well as experience in concept-driven operations. However, your personal qualities and attitude are most important. To succeed in this role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
