Linehuset is looking for assistant nurses with a strong interest and high competence in cognitive impairment/dementia.

We are recruiting staff for late summer/autumn, but as an organization with many opportunities, we can be flexible regarding start dates based on your preferences.

In the role of assistant nurse with high competence in cognitive impairment/dementia, you will be part of the multidisciplinary team at Linehuset. You will contribute your knowledge of cognitive impairment/dementia and are welcome to share this with your colleagues. Through close collaboration with managers, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other team members, you will help provide meaningful lives for residents, with the individual's needs at the center.

The work involves nursing care based on the resident's wishes and needs, as well as delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). The role also includes being a contact person and holding one or more areas of responsibility. As an assistant nurse, you will develop implementation plans, document in Lifecare, evaluate, and contribute to maintaining high quality in the operations. We monitor quality through national registers such as the BPSD register, SweDem, and Senior Alert.

We are looking for you

who have good experience working with people with dementia/cognitive diseases and are interested in working days and evenings, as well as every other weekend. We want you to feel confident in your role as an assistant nurse. To thrive with us, a positive attitude towards flexibility and development is important.

If you are educated as a specialist assistant nurse in dementia, we consider this meritorious, as is experience working with the BPSD register.

Good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language are important for the role.

About Linehuset

Linehuset is located in Linero in eastern Lund and consists of two residential units, each with 48 apartments. Each residential unit has six departments, covering both dementia and somatic care.

The garden is set in a park-like environment and contains a pavilion and an adapted sensory garden.

The work is led by three unit managers together with our administrative staff. We work together to ensure a good work environment, for example, with regular micro-breaks and the opportunity to use our recovery chairs. Our employees are our strength and greatest asset.
