The Business Area (VO) Child and Youth includes all emergency hospital units with 24/7 emergency reception for medical patients between 0 and 18 years, the child and youth ward, the neonatal ward, day care, scheduled reception in Ängelholm, Landskrona, and Helsingborg, as well as parent and youth health reception. In total, we have approximately 250 employees working within this business area. The VO also includes play therapy, a pedagogical activity for children and young people being treated in the hospital, as well as their siblings and relatives.

Job Description

Here, your duties as a nurse are varied as we treat patients from different specialties within medical, surgical, and orthopedic diagnoses. You work with the care of children and young people and serve as a secure and supportive presence for both them and their families.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience in pediatric care or are further educated as a pediatric nurse.

As a person, you are empathetic, sensitive, and have a genuine commitment to children and their families. We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills and work in a professional and structured manner. You contribute to a positive work environment and have a respectful approach towards children, families, and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
