Elkedjan was founded in 1966 and is characterized today by a personal and entrepreneurial approach. We are one of Sweden's largest chains for electricians, serving both professional and private customers. We offer the market a complete wholesale electrical assortment and packaged solutions, concepts, and service offers within analysis, consultation, installation, and service, often delivered in various forms of contracting projects. We have deep and long-standing knowledge to deliver both small and large projects - from smaller villas to large properties and industries. Elkedjan is present in 190 locations with over 1,600 employees nationwide. The chain office with central warehouse is located in Anderstorp, Småland, where we have approximately 50 employees. Svenska Elkedjan is not like other wholesalers. We are a co-owned network of over 160 electrical installation companies operating local businesses across Sweden. Our task is to make our partners even better – every day.
We are now looking for you who want to take a key role in developing our businesses in southern and western Sweden.
About the role
As a salesperson with us, you have a clear mandate: to drive sales, develop businesses, and create growth for your customers.
You are responsible for the relationship with our partners and develop their business over time. Electrical installation materials are the foundation – but what truly creates value is how you utilize our entire offering: products, services, concepts, training, and business support.
You drive the work of taking customers from + to +++++.
In practice, this means that you:
- Build long-term relationships and create community
- Drive the business forward through business development, not just product sales
- Negotiate prices, prepare quotations, and support in calculations
- Ensure that our tools and methods are fully utilized
- Plan and conduct meetings – from follow-ups to annual planning
- Gather needs and connect with the right competence from our team
You are out with our partners 2–4 days a week – that is where you make a difference.
It is your business acumen and your ability to build strong collaborations that determine your success.
Who are we looking for?
We believe that you currently work in a customer- or sales-oriented role within the electrical or installation industry and want to take a bigger grip on the business. You are a relationship builder who understands the entrepreneur's daily life and is driven by developing businesses over time.
You take responsibility for your own business, budget, and plan, and thrive in a role where you can combine structure with business drive. You are open in dialogue, skilled at capturing needs, and confident in turning them into concrete solutions together with others.
Above all, you see yourself as an ambassador who wants to build long-term collaborations.
