Are you a structured and business-driven person with experience or a strong interest in purchasing and logistics? Are you currently working as a purchaser, project manager, freight forwarder, designer, or in a related field? Or have you recently graduated in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain? Then you might be the person we are looking for at Swede-Wheel in Hillerstorp.

As a Purchaser here, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and sustainable purchasing, primarily of imported goods. You will be responsible for tactical purchasing work and will continuously handle transport, customs issues, and supplier contacts – both nationally and internationally. The role involves close collaboration with several functions within the company, including sales, production, and product development.

We are looking for someone with experience in the entire purchasing process – from needs analysis and request for quotations to supplier evaluation and follow-up. You have good system proficiency and experience working in ERP systems. Knowledge of international trade, freight, customs, or experience with Monitor G5 is considered a merit.

Example of tasks

• Plan and execute purchases.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor and follow up on transports from suppliers.
• Ensure customs brokers receive the necessary information for import clearance.
• Review customs documentation.
• Work with commodity classification according to the customs tariff for import clearance.
• Review and approve invoices and link invoice documentation.
• Work closely with sales and product development in the creation and modification of products.
• Identify and manage risks in the purchasing and freight process.
• Act as a substitute for production planners during planned absences.

Example of good experience to succeed in the role:

• Several years of experience in purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
• Good ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience handling international trade and customs issues.
• Good familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Monitor G5.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Relevant education in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.

• Strong focus on cost optimization and quality assurance.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
• Team player with good ability to coordinate with various departments.

It is crucial that you live within commuting distance to the factory in Hillerstorp.
