Make a difference. Every day.

Are you a passionate and experienced nurse who wants to work at a development-oriented health center with friendly colleagues, where there is room for reflection and professional development? Do you value working in multidisciplinary teams where we continuously develop the operations with a focus on medical quality and a good working environment?

Health Center (HC) Laröd is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with just over 7,000 listed patients and just over 285 listed children at the associated Child Health Center (CHC). We run a branch in Mariastaden where we offer both emergency and booked appointments for doctors and nurses, as well as a clinic for dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and the Child Health Center.

We are very proud of our good working environment, focusing on satisfied employees and patients, as well as high care quality. Our latest employee survey confirmed a good working environment with high scores on factors such as well-being factors, motivation, goal achievement, and leadership.

For us, it is important to offer our patients good accessibility, respectful treatment, continuity, security, and high medical competence.

"Diabetes care in primary healthcare means a lot to me because it involves both prevention and promotion. At the same time, I appreciate working in a place where we care about our patients and each other just as much. If you are passionate about this, or want to learn, and are looking for a workplace where you can grow, laugh, influence, and truly make a difference for people with diabetes, then I hope we become colleagues here at HC Laröd."

— Peter, Research District Nurse and Diabetes Nurse

Here, about 30 dedicated employees from various professional categories work in cross-professional teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. We offer a Child Health Center (CHC), doctor's clinic, district nurse clinic, specialist nurse clinics for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, hypertension, infections, lifestyle, vaccinations, memory clinic, and elderly care clinic, as well as clinics for occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

We are very proud to be an Academic Health Center (AHC), which means we have research assignments from the Center for Primary Health Care Research (CPF) by building bridges between the academic world and primary healthcare. We participate in several research studies within areas such as lifestyle, mental health/illness, and hypertension.
