Medicine at Alingsås Hospital is looking for a Medical Secretary for a summer temporary position!

In your role as a Medical Secretary, you will have the opportunity to work as a ward secretary on our care wards and be offered varied tasks. We have wards focusing on stroke/TIA, internal medicine, and cardiology.

Description

Good collaboration is important to us as we work in teams consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, secretaries, and others around the patient.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, contributes to a positive work climate, and is proud of the medical secretary's competence. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in diagnostic classification.

Your contribution as a Medical Secretary plays a major role!

Tasks

The tasks consist of standard duties for a Medical Secretary and vary depending on placement. A selection includes:

• Medical record documentation in Melior
• Diagnostic classification in Melior and registration of diagnosis and procedure codes in ELVIS
• Handling of referrals
• Patient booking
• Mail handling
• Preparation for scanning

Qualifications

• Two-year University College (YH) education, or equivalent, as a Medical Secretary
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Merits

• Experience with Melior and ELVIS
• Education in disease classification

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Working Hours

Working hours are during daytime, Monday-Friday.

Other
