At Villa Stinsen's group home, 6 people with various disabilities live together. The need for support and care is great and available around the clock. The work is driven by the residents' needs, wishes, and prerequisites for managing daily activities.

We work with implementation plans and risk assessments. We focus on tailoring support to individual residents, creating participation, and working purposefully based on the residents' wishes and needs. A prerequisite for ensuring good living conditions is having good knowledge of the residents. Within the operation, it is important to have competence regarding people in need of special support and service, as well as disabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, you are part of a work team that provides pedagogical support and care to promote the users' abilities and independence. Your tasks involve working closely with the users and supporting them in their daily lives.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

Personal care and support in everyday activities.
Healthcare-related tasks according to delegation from licensed personnel.
Support during leisure activities and interests.
Support and execution of household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.

As a support assistant, you follow our common goals and implementation plans and document in our systems. Your work involves collaborating with colleagues, partners, users, relatives, or other important people for the users. As a support assistant with us, your tasks consist of building a trusting relationship with the users and, respecting their right to self-determination and integrity, supporting them in areas of their lives where they find it difficult to manage on their own.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

Education as a support assistant, or nurse assistant with a focus on disabilities, or alternatively other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
Current experience working with people with disabilities and autism, as well as experience working in LSS service housing.
Experience in low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
Good knowledge of and experience working with digital implementation plans and social documentation.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

Education in special pedagogy 1 and 2.
Experience with motivational interviewing, MI.

You have the ability to create basic security for the residents, are empathetic, and show personal maturity. The work requires that you are structured, can work based on given guidelines, and plan and complete your tasks within the specified time. You are secure and have the ability to distinguish between facts and personal matters in your professional role.

You are independent, unpretentious, and enjoy working collaboratively in a team where responsibility and competence are shared. You adapt your work to the residents' needs and always put the users' best interests first. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
