About the workplace

We in Home Care Area North 2 have our office at Brigadgatan 4 and work with clients living in Drottninghög, Ringstorp, Fredriksdal, and Pålsjö östra. You will operate from the unit's local office and travel by car or bicycle (if it is not within walking distance) between different clients, following a work schedule.

Job Responsibilities

With a health-promoting approach, you provide personal support based on individual needs and conditions in the clients' homes, which are equipped with digital locks. As an assistant nurse, you work primarily independently and provide care in the form of personal nursing, support during meals, social interaction, and more.

You perform tasks delegated by nurses, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists, such as exercise interventions, medication handover, and wound dressing changes. We work in teams with these different professions. Currently, we place extra emphasis on preventing malnutrition.

We work with fixed care contacts, and documentation is included in the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or can certify that you had a permanent employment as an assistant nurse on July 1, 2023. You need to have basic computer skills and experience with documentation, as well as be comfortable working with various digital tools. It is important that you can and want to cycle in the role, as this is how you get to our clients. Furthermore, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you have experience working as an assistant nurse and are familiar with LifeCare, Senior Alert, Tes, Appva, BPSD registry, and have worked with Stjärnmärkt (Star-marked care), it is a big plus. It is also meritorious if you have in-depth knowledge or experience with palliative care, malnutrition, cognitive impairment, or psychiatry, as well as a B-driver's license.

Working hours: Within home care in Helsingborg Municipality, you work on a schedule where working hours are primarily located either during the day or evening, with work every other weekend. This position is an evening position and will involve work between 14:45–23:15. The schedule you receive may change if the operational needs change.
