Residential Support Worker for Skogsbo – The Salvation Army
Skogsbo is The Salvation Army's sheltered housing for women exposed to violence and their children. We are located in the Stockholm area and offer secure housing in a pleasant and calm environment. Here, women and children can find stability and a platform to move forward. Skogsbo has space for 15 women and approximately 21 children.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a residential support worker, you will provide both practical and psychosocial support to women and children. The tasks are varied, and we would like you to be creative, flexible, and possess strong empathetic skills. We work with a milieu therapeutic approach; our physical environment is important, and we aim to see and strengthen the whole person—spirit, soul, and body.
You will work on a rotating schedule, which means regular work during evenings and weekends, year-round.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
- Experience working with the target group/victims of violence, minimum 2 years.
- Education as a treatment assistant, social pedagogue, or similar post-secondary education. Must be verified with a degree certificate.
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Female applicants only
