We are looking for you to make a difference in LSS support – 3 temporary positions
Welcome to Lidingö Municipality, a green, city-adjacent island just 15 minutes from central Stockholm. Here, we work with engagement, professionalism, and curiosity to create safety and opportunities for all residents. We belong to the Care and Social Services Department, one of the municipality's six departments, where approximately 800 employees support Lidingö residents through all stages of life.
Our mission is to create safety and development, whether it concerns elderly care, social psychiatry, support for people with disabilities, or individual and family care. With experience and collaboration, we meet every individual based on their needs.
About the position
We are currently looking for 3 substitutes for our activities within LSS (The Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups). The position is fixed-term, and you will work daytime hours (Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00).
Your responsibilities include providing support, service, and personal care. We work based on the individual's personal execution plan, focusing on participation, influence, and safety. For the group we are hiring for, we work structured with our clients, follow the client throughout the day, and work one-on-one.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- A completed and approved upper secondary education, preferably within healthcare and social care (USK) or child and youth care. Alternatively, other education that we assess as equivalent.
- Good computer skills to handle social documentation.
- Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities, mental health issues, or similar assignments.
- A valid B-class driver's license (manual transmission).
Merits
You have advantageous knowledge or experience in:
- Craftsmanship skills and interest in practical activities.
- Outdoor work.
- Methodologies such as clarifying pedagogy, low-affective handling, or other adapted methodologies.

Employment terms and conditions
The position is a fixed-term employment. Lidingö Municipality applies individual salary setting, and the start date is by agreement. We conduct ongoing selection during the recruitment process.
The position requires a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). Lidingö Municipality works with competence-based recruitment to prevent discrimination and ensure the right person is chosen based on competence.
