Krica Treatment and Education is now looking for a Social Worker with coordination responsibilities at Kricagården.

Krica targets young people and young adults with mental health issues such as relationship difficulties, depression, self-destructive behavior, and aggression problems. The goal is for the young people to develop self-confidence and find their way to a meaningful and satisfying life.

At Kricagården, you will work with young people aged 14–20. The target group consists of young people with mental health issues and psychosocial problems. The facility is licensed for 12 young people.

What does the job entail?

The role primarily involves being a secure, relationship-building, and stable therapist for our young people. We work in teams and are jointly responsible for the unit's development, both in terms of results and work environment.

As a Social Worker with coordination responsibilities at Kricagården, you will have a central function in the daily treatment. You will work closely with the unit manager on administrative tasks such as staffing planning and filling vacant shifts (scheduling). You will support the therapists in daily operations from a milieu-therapeutic perspective.

You have good collaboration skills, a solution-oriented approach, and are resilient under stress. You have the capacity to prioritize and handle multiple issues simultaneously.

You report directly to the Unit Manager.

The young people's treatment is planned individually in the implementation plan in accordance with BBIC. We follow up on individual young people's treatment, evaluate, and plan in close relation to the young person and the client. You need to be able to deliver treatment-related administrative tasks with quality and service orientation. You will join a dynamic workplace where you are part of the young people's daily lives. You must have knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements imposed by authorities, which means interpreting and applying these in your daily work with the young people.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least 5 years of previous work experience working with young people with mental health issues within HVB (residential care) or in similar work, e.g., psychiatry, schools, or addiction care. You have a degree in Social Work and are interested in, and have the knowledge and ability to work milieu-therapeutically with young people, which requires strong commitment, good organizational skills, patience, and flexibility. You are a good role model and respect the individual. You understand the importance of staying in your professional role and are careful to separate your private self in relation to the young people.

You are sensitive, easy to collaborate with, and have good communication skills in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position involves day shifts as well as some evening, on-call, and weekend shifts.

Collective agreement applies. An extract from the police register for work at HVB homes will be obtained prior to employment. The organization is HBTQI-certified as well as quality-certified according to ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
