With an experienced team and broad expertise, the company offers customized cleaning solutions that meet the customer's unique needs.

EMCOTECH is now looking for an accountant who wants to take a central role in the team in Gävle and help shape working methods, processes, and structure for the future.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly within finance, focusing on ongoing bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, year-end closing, auditing, and some reporting. You will also play a key support role to the business, helping colleagues with administrative questions related to projects, invoices, and follow-ups. The role also offers the opportunity to become a key user in our project and business systems and, in the long term, contribute to developing both system support and working methods.

The role involves significant personal responsibility and independent work, with good opportunities for development in a company that is still under construction. At the same time, you will be an important internal contact point and contribute to creating structure and efficient working methods.

Your Profile

We believe you are a curious, driven, and self-motivated person who wants to understand how the business operates and is motivated by helping to set up structures from the ground up. You thrive in a role where you take ownership, find solutions, and work proactively, while also enjoying collaboration and building relationships within the organization.

In terms of background, we see that you have an education in finance or equivalent experience, and preferably have worked with bookkeeping and accounts. You don't need to know everything from the start – the important thing is that you have the desire to learn, develop, and take the next step. Experience in project-based operations or familiarity with business systems is a plus.

Since the company operates in an international environment, English is a requirement.

The position is located in Gävle, and we prefer that you are on-site for most of the time, as the role is central to the organization and involves many contact points.
