Here you will become part of an engaged team of approximately 60 employees. General specialists, ST and AT doctors, district nurses, general nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries work here. Together, we work to provide the best possible care for our approximately 12,000 registered patients and 1,000 children at the Child Health Center (BVC). The health center offers a complete primary care service and is also a training health center for ST doctors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome you who are a licensed occupational therapist, as our occupational therapist will soon be retiring.

Here you will contribute your specific competence to increase the individual's independence and participation in daily activities. You will be the first point of contact for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow, as well as fitting and manufacturing orthoses.

The responsibilities also include conducting activity and function assessments and participating in cognitive investigations. Prescribing and fitting of assistive devices, as well as follow-ups according to the prescription process, are also included. Counseling is a central part of your work, both individually and by leading training for different patient groups.

We offer you varied responsibilities where you meet patients of all ages, and you control much of your day and schedule yourself. On the rehabilitation unit, you will work together with five physiotherapists but also collaborate with other professional categories such as doctors and nurses. You will be part of a network for occupational therapists within the cluster.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed occupational therapist with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. As travel occurs in the position, a valid B-driver's license is a requirement. We consider it meritorious if you have a few years of work experience in the profession, preferably within primary care.
