Main Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will be part of a work group where your main tasks are to ensure order and accuracy regarding the unit's material, together with your colleagues. Your duties include monitoring status and reporting on material, as well as coordinating material flows. This is primarily done in the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems, e.g., PRIO or LIFT.
Examples of tasks
- Report on material throughout its entire lifecycle (procurement, redistribution, decommissioning, disposal)
- Maintenance and updating of registration systems
- Inventory reporting of material
- Support to local warehouses for goods handling
- Control and coordination of material flows

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- A 3-year upper secondary education
- Experience with administrative tasks
- Very good computer skills (especially Excel)
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English
- Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
- Swedish citizenship
Meritorious
- Experience with material reporting
- Experience with logistics and material administration within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Knowledge/experience of the Swedish Armed Forces' internal reporting systems LIFT and PRIO
- Experience with customer contact in trade/logistics
- Experience handling confidential information
Personal qualities
We are looking for you who are responsible and meticulous even when the work pace is high. You have good teamwork skills and find it easy to get into new tasks. You have a good ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Other
The position is a civil, permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those not already employed by the Swedish Armed Forces. The location is Örebro, with immediate start or as agreed. Travel may occur in the role. Your application should include a CV and a cover letter.
