The Care Administration sees a need to add specific expertise in the pharmaceutical field to support nurses in their work. Therefore, we are now looking for a pharmacist!

We offer a role with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities to contribute to long-term improvements within the municipality's health and care services.

You will be organizationally placed within our health and care organization (HSV). The health and care team consists of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and care assistants at the short-term care facility Stafvres. Our mission is to ensure good and safe care for all patients.

Your role with us

The position is a completely new function within the municipality, where we are now taking the first step in establishing the role of a pharmacist within health and care. The purpose of the pharmacist's role is to increase quality, patient safety, and efficiency in medication management together with the nurses in the health and care team.

As a pharmacist, you will become a central part of the work with safe medication management and serve as a support for both patients and healthcare staff. You will work closely with patients in collaboration with nurses and care staff, while also helping to shape and develop working methods moving forward.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Support and competence development regarding medication issues
• Conduct medication reviews, for example upon admission to the short-term care facility Stafvres
• Ordering, preparation, and control of medications
• Involvement in the investigation of deviations related to medications
• Systematic quality work, such as self-controls
• Contribute to the development of routines and working methods within medication management
• Collaborate with nurses, healthcare staff, patients, relatives, as well as pharmacies and other healthcare providers

Who are we looking for?

You have a degree as a pharmacist or pharmaceutical assistant with pharmaceutical licensure. We would like you to have documented experience working as a clinical pharmacist, and experience in municipal health and care is meritorious. Additionally, experience working in politically governed operations is an advantage.

Since documentation and communication are part of the job, you must have good communication skills and be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You must also be able to handle digital tools in your work. Since the Care Administration has operations throughout the entire Municipality of Kristianstad, which you will visit, having a Category B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.

You are unpretentious and can collaborate with others, meaning you are good at listening, showing empathy, and respect. You can work independently, take responsibility, and are self-sufficient in your work. We also want you to be able to deliver results and easily focus on the customer's needs.

This is who we are

The Care Administration's operations target the elderly and individuals who need functional support, as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and housing facilities, health and care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national upper secondary school, and the Assistive Technology Centre in Eastern Skåne.
