About the role

As a school counselor (kurator) with us, you are the school's expert in psychosocial work. Your responsibilities include:

• Support conversations: Individual counseling support for students, focusing on well-being, motivation, relationships, and life situation.
• Group and relationship work: Being an active part of the school's values-based work and assisting with conflict resolution.
• Student Health Services: Actively participating in the interdisciplinary student health team together with the principal, special education teacher, school nurse, and psychologist.
• Collaboration: Contact with guardians and external actors such as social services and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP).

Your profile

We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker (socionom) or have another relevant academic degree. You have good knowledge of child development and previous experience in social work, preferably from schools or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

As a person, you are secure, sensitive, and have good collaboration skills. You can build trusting relationships with both students and adults.
