About the job

We are looking for hourly-paid teaching assistants who, as needed and upon agreement, will assist the course coordinator in the course Programming in C++ (6 credits) during the autumn term of 2026. The main tasks involve supervision during laboratory sessions.

About you

The hourly-paid position is directly linked to the undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Science and Technology at Linköping University. The tasks are varied and may arise with short notice, requiring flexibility and availability at the university. You should be responsible, detail-oriented, possess good communication and pedagogical skills, and have an interest in the subject area.

A requirement for obtaining an hourly-paid position is that you can provide documentation showing that you are studying for a Master of Science in Engineering degree at the Department of Science and Technology (ITN) at Linköping University and are in the later stages of your education (year 3 or later). Furthermore, you must have good programming skills, primarily in C++. Please describe relevant programming experience, such as industry experience, in your application.

It is an advantage if you have completed LiTH's course on gender-aware teaching for course assistants.

You will work at the Department of Science and Technology.

About the employment

This refers to a fixed-term, intermittent employment with hourly pay. The scope and period are determined in agreement with the course coordinator.

Salary and benefits

The current assistant salary at Linköping University is 159.70 SEK/hour, which corresponds to a full-time salary of 26,350 SEK.
