About the job as a personal assistant

We are looking for a woman who wants to work with our lovely client in Mölndal. As an assistant, you will be present during the entire morning and evening, as well as every other weekend, providing help with all daily care tasks and supporting activities. You are a reassuring presence by her side, and most importantly, you are a calm and sensitive person. You enjoy coming up with ideas and are quick to take initiative.

Previous experience as an assistant is not required as we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability, but it is considered an advantage.

Our client enjoys coming up with things and appreciates it if you go for coffee or shopping together.

She loves listening to music and performances.

Your working hours vary between weekdays 09:30–14:00 and 16:30–21:00, as well as every other weekend. The times may be adjusted slightly.

We are looking for two people, and the positions are approximately 50–75% each, with the possibility of working more.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and on their free time. Your workplace is where the client is located, and your overall tasks involve assisting the client so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

Tasks

Your tasks depend on the client's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, household chores, cooking, to assisting the client at work or during activities outside the home.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, sensitive, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you always receive an introduction at the client's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The form of employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the form of payment is hourly wage. Working hours vary based on the client's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays, and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the Collective Agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
