Do you want to be part of an organization that makes a difference for children and young people? BUP Central Outpatient Care West is now looking for a Collaboration Counselor.
BUP Central Outpatient Care West is an outpatient clinic in the city center providing modern child and adolescent psychiatry at a specialist level. We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric illnesses and conditions in children and adolescents aged 0–17.
The staff group consists of approximately 25 employees working in cross-professional teams. We are psychologists, counselors, doctors, nurses, medical secretaries, and administrators. We welcome new colleagues warmly and place great emphasis on induction so that you feel welcome. The staff group has a warm atmosphere with humor and self-awareness.
We work with stepped care to offer our patients the right care at the right level based on BUP Stockholm's process maps and the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. Using this model, we maintain a steady and high level of interventions and free up resources for the patients with the greatest care needs.
At the clinic, we have clear working methods and routines for how we perform our work, with high ceilings and good administrative support.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a counselor who will have special responsibility for collaboration and coordination of interventions with various actors for our patients with high needs. Support for these families will take place both through consultation with therapists at the clinic and by being part of the team around the patient and family. This role does not involve working with psychiatric treatment.
The position also includes special responsibility as a SIP (Social Services and Psychiatric Care) leader. This means responsibility for developing and leading the SIP meetings initiated by BUP Central Outpatient Care West, as well as representing the clinic at SIP meetings. In connection with this assignment, the role will involve responsibility, together with the clinic's management, to develop other necessary collaboration regarding our patients, both by developing routines and by establishing contact with actors such as schools, social services, habilitation services, pediatric clinics, and adult psychiatry.
Qualifications
You must have a degree in social work and work experience from working within social services and/or child and adolescent psychiatry.
Previous experience leading SIP meetings or working with collaboration is meritorious.
Personal Qualities
You are proactive, able to think strategically, and relationship-building. To succeed in the role, you need to have good collaboration skills and the courage to act based on your own convictions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
