We are currently looking for an HR Consultant who wants to work close to operations and provide qualified support to the department's managers. We cannot promise that the assignment will always be easy, but we can promise that it will be meaningful, educational, and make a real difference.
The assignment of the Support for Functionality Department is characterized by high complexity, and so is the role of HR Consultant with us. The core operations are crucial for residents of Malmö with various forms of disabilities, and HR work takes place close to the operations, characterized by participation, engagement, and the opportunity to contribute where it truly makes a difference.
You will participate in meetings that can sometimes be challenging and demanding – but which also offer the opportunity to make a real difference. You are confident and experienced in the field of labor law and use your knowledge in a way that is both clear and pedagogical. Whether it concerns the Employment Protection Act (LAS), risk assessments, or supporting complex personnel cases, you contribute with calmness, structure, and guidance.
You enjoy taking responsibility for your own cases and independently investigating and driving processes forward. At the same time, you are a support for managers in their daily lives – you educate, explain, and help make the difficult more understandable and manageable.
A large part of your role involves qualified labor law assessments, where your experience and judgment make a real difference.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree from the PA program or another university or higher education degree that the employer considers relevant. You have extensive experience in broad and consultative HR work and are accustomed to working closely with managers.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you have a high degree of cooperation skills and a non-hierarchical approach. You are confident in yourself and your competence, dare to take a stand when needed, and work independently with great responsibility for your assignments. You drive your processes in a structured and goal-oriented manner and have the ability to see both details and the whole picture.
You have good administrative skills, are structured in your working method, and can organize, prioritize, and follow up on your tasks in an efficient and quality-assured manner. At the same time, you have a strategic perspective and can contribute to development in both the short and long term.
Environmental scanning and continuous development are a natural part of your working method. You are curious, keep yourself updated in the HR field, and see the value of trying new working methods to meet the needs of the operations in a sustainable and professional way.

About the Workplace
The Operational HR Support Unit is to provide close support in HR matters to the department's managers, starting from Malmö City's HR processes. Operational HR constitutes a consultative support but also has a follow-up function regarding the implementation of laws, agreements, and HR processes. The support is based on the needs of the operations and creates conditions for sustainable structures, legally secure processes, and good employer responsibility.
In the Support for Functionality Department, approximately 3,400 employees work together to create and develop even better support and services for people with disabilities. Our operations are within LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), social psychiatry, personal assistance, escorts and substitutes, and health care. Even severely ill children cared for at home are part of our mission.
