Specialist Training (ST) Position in Periodontology – Folktandvården Skåne

We are now looking for a dentist for an ST position (Specialist Training) in periodontology at our specialist dental clinic in Lund and Kristianstad.

The Clinic in Lund

The clinic in Lund is one of Sweden's largest specialist clinics. We treat patients of all ages and offer a broad range of dental expertise, from counseling to advanced multidisciplinary specialist care. Here, a team of over 70 professionals provides dental care within the specialties of periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and occlusal physiology. The clinic is located near Lund Central Station, offering excellent commuting opportunities.

The Clinic in Kristianstad

Part of the position will be based at our specialist clinic in Kristianstad, which offers a broad range of dental expertise. Here, a team of approximately 80 employees provides dental care in general dentistry, periodontology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, all within an open and developmental collaboration. The clinic is located in modern premises near the central station.

The specialist training is a regionally funded assignment-based education.

Responsibilities

The position, which includes both clinical work and theoretical education, will be tailored individually and carried out in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice on dentists' specialist training (HSLF-FS 2017:77). The training covers a minimum of three years full-time.

The clinical activities are located at the specialist clinics in Lund and Kristianstad. Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Swedish dental license and have at least two years of full-time experience as a general dentist with experience in both pediatric and adult dentistry. Additionally, you must have Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with periodontology at a specialist clinic, have research experience, and have teaching experience.
