Environmental Inspector with Special Focus on Small Sewage Systems

You will become part of a competent work group consisting of 14 people covering the areas of environment, sewage, health protection, as well as food and alcohol. Job Responsibilities

As an Environmental Inspector, you play a crucial role in the contact between residents, businesses, and authorities. With us, authority enforcement is not just about rules. We have a guiding role focused on building trust and finding solutions within the legal framework.

In the role of Environmental Inspector with a special focus on small sewage systems, you will among other things:

• Conduct supervision and assessments regarding small sewage systems
• Process applications, notifications, and other incoming cases
• Engage in dialogue and provide advice to property owners and business operators
• Write decisions and official reports
• Contribute to the development of working methods and service

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have an academic background in environmental and health protection or equivalent knowledge from professional practice
• Have basic knowledge of the Environmental Code
• Have a good ability to express yourself clearly in writing
• Hold a valid B-driver's license

Previous experience in authority enforcement, supervision, or individual sewage systems is considered an asset. Previous experience in service roles is also advantageous.
