About the position

Your assignment involves investigating cases regarding children and young people based on reports, or following up on approved measures, depending on which group you will belong to.

The Social Services in Tidaholm Municipality are characterized by cohesion and care for each other. We currently have all existing positions filled, and our perception is that staff turnover is low, although one employee will leave after the summer. Accessibility, clarity, and support from immediate management, as well as from colleagues, are values that received top grades in the last conducted employee survey. We are now also expanding our group with one additional employee.

The Children and Young People group includes eight additional social secretaries distributed across an investigation group and an intervention group, a senior social secretary, a foster care secretary, and a comprehensive open care team that works in close collaboration with each other. Relatively recently, the open care team was also expanded to work even more preventively and to meet the new Social Services Act.

We continuously work with monitoring workload to contribute to a sustainable workload over time, which is a very important parameter for employee well-being.

At our disposal is a support staff that includes functions such as SAS (Socially Responsible Coordinator), business developer, and system administrator.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a social work degree or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We also see that you have experience in authority practice within children and young people in municipal social services.
