Do you want to work with adults within the LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Functional Impairments) and believe it is important to make a real difference? Do you want a fun and varied job? Then the position of support assistant at the group homes Lingonet or Laurentius might be right for you.

We are currently looking for two support assistants in Vedum, one for Lingonet group home and one for Laurentiusgatan group home.

Fixed-term contracts:

• 2026-09-01 – 2027-02-28

Your role

A professional and respectful approach, as well as a positive attitude, are fundamental to our operations. As a support assistant, you work to support and assist residents in their daily and working lives based on established decisions and implementation plans.

The work includes support in areas such as care, communication, practical daily tasks, and activities.

The role involves close collaboration with guardians and relatives. Ongoing documentation according to current legislation is also part of the job, including writing implementation plans according to IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus).

Your knowledge and experience

You must have education as a support assistant, education from the Child and Youth Care Programme, Youth Leader Line, Care Programme, or other education/competence/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Other qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience of working with low-affective interaction.
• Experience working with people with various types of functional impairments.
• Knowledge and experience in social documentation according to IBIC (structured documentation, individual needs in focus).
• Good computer skills and documentation ability.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are calm, secure, and stress-resistant with great patience. You are proactive and responsible, and have a strong belief in people's ability to develop and change.

Furthermore, you are flexible and have the ability to plan and structure the activities and tasks of work shifts. You enjoy working both independently and together with others. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability, interaction, and attitude.

Requirements and documents:

• You must have access to BankID.
• You must be able to present an extract from the police criminal record. Type of extract: Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities.
• You must also be able to show a passport/valid ID card. A driver's license can be shown together with a personal certificate, which you can retrieve from skatteverket.se using Bank-ID (can be done at a booked interview).

Your future workplace

Our unit includes three group homes, with Lingonet and Laurentius located in Vedum and Götgatan in Kvänum. This means that resource shifts may occur at all three units. Here, decisions regarding Housing with Special Service for Adults according to LSS are implemented.
