WORK ASSIGNMENTS

On the medical ward, you will meet patients with a wide variety of internal medical diagnoses such as infections, heart failure, and COPD, often elderly and multi-morbid. A part of the infection flow consists of orthopedic patients.

"Working here on the medical ward is both exciting and developmental. We work with different patient groups and we learn something new every day. It is of course challenging and tough sometimes, but it is also a very fun ward and we are a good bunch," says Patrik, nurse on the medical ward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Knowledge of Swedish at a minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated nurses.

As a person, you have a positive attitude and see opportunities, which is shown by your ability to adjust and adapt your way of working to changed circumstances that arise in everyday life. In contact with patients and relatives, we expect you to be receptive and have a humble and empathetic approach. You are curious and want to learn new things, which is seen in your way of taking initiative at the workplace. We also want you, just like us, to value and promote good collaboration with colleagues and the nearest manager at the unit, as well as with external partners and other operations at the hospital. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
