to apply for the job
Do you want to contribute to competitive businesses throughout the country? Are you quality-conscious and passionate about service? Then you might be the person we are looking for!
At Tillväxtverket (Enterprise and Growth Agency), we work for competitive businesses and sustainable development in all parts of Sweden. We offer knowledge, networks, and opportunities for investment. This provides direct benefits to businesses, as well as prerequisites for businesses, municipalities, and regions to meet future challenges. Tillväxtverket is a national authority with a regional presence in nine locations.
Tillväxtverket has the government's mandate to administer transport subsidies. The transport subsidy can be applied for by businesses that process products in the four northernmost counties. The subsidy reduces their cost disadvantages and thereby strengthens the competitiveness of the businesses. In this way, the transport subsidy also contributes to regional development.
About the position
We are now looking for a case officer for businesses who wants to work with regional policy business support. The work primarily involves preparation and decision-making regarding applications for transport subsidies. The role includes business visits and other contacts with both businesses and authorities. The work is performed independently but in close collaboration with the rest of the transport subsidy team and other parts of the authority. In the long term, other tasks at Tillväxtverket may also arise, e.g., follow-up and evaluation work, as well as participation in various collaboration groups within Tillväxtverket.
Your place of work is Arjeplog and travel is included in the job.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant work experience from, for example, municipalities, authorities, or businesses with issues concerning economics, business affairs, regional development, or case processing in a relevant area.
- Knowledge and experience of handling digital tools and working in digital environments.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
The following are meritorious:
- Education from a university or college, equivalent to at least 3 years of study.
- Current and documented case processing experience, knowledge of business support and/or processing of business support.
- Experience in understanding and interpreting regulations to carry out assignments.
- Knowledge of logistics and transport systems.
- Driver's license.
As a person, we are looking for someone who is accustomed to structuring and planning their work independently. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach. You are meticulous and driven.
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
We expect you to adhere to our employee and manager policy (https://tillvaxtverket.se/tillvaxtverket/omtillvaxtverket/jobbahososs/fordelarmedattjobbahososs/medarbetarochchefspolicy.600.html), which expresses the expectations we have of all employees.
We assume that you share our value base, which is the Swedish public sector values (https://www.statskontoret.se/fokusomraden/god-forvaltningskultur-och-antikorruption/den-statliga-vardegrunden/). This unites all who are state-employed, regardless of activity and profession. Employment type and application deadline
The position is a fixed-term appointment (vicar): from August 1, 2026, to March 31, 2028.
