The radiology operations in northwestern Scania are conducted in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, and Landskrona, which together offer access to diagnostics around the clock. Here, ultrasound examinations, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, peripheral angiography, and traditional X-ray examinations are performed.

At Radiology Landskrona, we primarily conduct elective operations. The operations are carried out on weekdays between 07:30 and 18:00, and on weekends between 10:00 and 14:00. There are a total of 25 dedicated employees who all work to ensure the best possible experience for the patient. We are in an exciting phase of development and have recently expanded our equipment with an additional MRI scanner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an assistant nurse to join our dedicated team! The position is a fixed-term assignment of 12 months.

The role is varied, and you will work with everything from reception duties and bookings to assisting with radiology examinations across all modalities (conventional X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound), as well as inserting venous cannulas in the preparation room prior to examinations involving contrast. As an assistant nurse with us, you play a key role in ensuring that all patient-related work flows smoothly. You do this, among other things, by being helpful and accommodating in an attentive manner, ensuring that your colleagues in the team have the best possible conditions to help the patient. Providing good service to doctors and radiographers based on their specific needs is therefore a large part of the job. Since all work is digital, you will work with the computer as your main tool on a daily basis. Therefore, you need to be experienced and comfortable with this.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and meet the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current curriculum structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. It is an advantage if you have experience with reception work and/or have previously worked within diagnostics. If you also have experience with the systems SECTRA, RIS, and PACS, it is beneficial.
