At Kråkan's children's and youth residential facility, children and young people aged 13–17 with decisions under LSS 9:8 can reside. We are currently seeking a support assistant for employment based on need. It is desirable that you, as an applicant, have experience working with children and young people within the LSS target group.

As a support assistant, you base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the children and young people, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. You support, guide, and motivate to ensure that the children and young people have the best conditions for developing their abilities and creating opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

The schedule covers all hours of the day, on call, based on the needs of the children and young people.

About You

To succeed in this role, we see that you are clear, pedagogical, and driven by the desire to help children and young people grow and develop. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and have an easy time collaborating. You have the will and ability to follow the company's goals, vision, and values. You are proactive and sensitive to the needs of the children and young people.

We are looking for you who have creativity, courage, and commitment to join us in building a facility that best benefits our children and young people.

We want you to have

• A secondary education.
• Desirable if you have worked for a few years in SoL or LSS operations and have good knowledge of the target group.
• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish.
• Good computer skills.
• A driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling.

At Kråkan, we work with the operational support "Boet". Experience in this area is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Before employment, you need to provide extracts from the criminal record and suspicion register.

About Hemma Omsorg:

Hemma Omsorg was founded in the spring of 2022. Currently, in addition to Kråkan, we have a residence in Älvängen and one in Hisings Backa. In the autumn of 2026, we will open the doors to our fourth residence, Kartografen in Västerås! All with permits according to LSS 9:8. Those who work at Hemma Omsorg have long experience in the field, and our ambition is to run Sweden's best children's and youth residences!
