En Kamp För Barn (EKFB) is an established actor in consultant-supported emergency and foster care, open care, and supported housing. About the role:

As a Foster Home Consultant at EKFB, you play a central role in our work supporting children and young people. Your work involves close collaboration with families and external partners to ensure quality care. We are looking for someone with the ambition to take on greater responsibility and step into a broader role within the organization over time. Your main responsibilities include:

• Recruitment and assessment of foster/emergency homes
• Supervising, supporting, and training our foster families
• Close collaboration with social services, receiving requests/placements, and matching with foster families
• Documentation

The position is based at our office in Gothenburg, but travel is required to visit emergency and foster homes, so you must be prepared for a certain amount of travel in your work. The position is a needs-based employment/project-based role. We offer an independent role with flexibility, as well as a family-like company with competent and warm colleagues. About you:

We are looking for someone who is primarily driven and engaged in helping children and young people. We see you as a team player with good collaboration skills and a sense of responsibility. Furthermore, you are flexible and understand that the company is a smaller organization in a growth phase. For this role, we require:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work) or other relevant higher education in fields such as behavioral science, social work, or psychology – or other education deemed equivalent
• Good communication skills and fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Strong documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license (Category B)
