About the job

You work with the processing and investigation of cases concerning the taxation of sole traders. The cases vary in complexity and scope, meaning that some involve simpler reviews while others require more in-depth investigations. You analyze and assess different types of documentation and make decisions based on laws and regulations. As a case officer, you play a key role in helping sole traders understand and manage their situation and ensuring correct taxation. Through your contact with them, you contribute to strengthening trust in the Swedish Tax Agency's operations. Your duties also include providing service and guidance to private individuals and businesses regarding income tax returns.

You plan your own working day and handle your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You work in teams, close to your colleagues, and you support and receive support from each other. You also contribute to our work on continuous improvements in daily life and choose effective solutions. You think new, dare, and act.

You have flexible working hours, and it is a matter of course for us that you have a balance between work and leisure. You belong to Corporate Tax Unit 7 in the Corporate Tax Department, located in Örebro.

About you

You must also have:

• a completed university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits in the old system) in economics or law at the time of application
• current and relevant work experience in economics, accounting, or bookkeeping, or alternatively current and relevant work experience in case processing from a government agency.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in case processing from the Swedish Tax Agency.

Interviews for this recruitment process are expected to be conducted during week 26.

The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Therefore, a security investigation with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our security-classed tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
