About the position
Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary.
The client is a woman living in a home with a cat, located approximately 40 km (25 miles) outside of Uppsala. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work involves supporting with daily chores, personal care, and activities both inside and outside the home. Assistive devices such as a lift and wheelchair are used in the assistance.
Who are you?
The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive in the role, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the client.
For this position, you must tolerate and enjoy being around furry animals (the client has a cat).
The greatest emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and the chemistry between the assistant and the client.
Working hours, employment degree, and salary
The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 40%.
Working hours: The position currently involves a scheduled shift on Thursdays and Fridays from 07:00–15:00.
Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations and shift allowances are paid according to the collective agreement.
Start date: Desired start date is 2026-05-25 or according to agreement.
