The Guardianship Authority is located in pleasant premises at the Luleå Service Centre and consists of a registrar, eight case officers, and a unit manager.
As a guardianship case officer, you work with public administration and are responsible for cases concerning guardianship, estate administration, and minority guardianship. Many cases are complex and require both good judgment and the ability to see the big picture – always with the individual's best interests in focus. Here you will use your legal expertise where it is truly needed – and you will do so together with colleagues who are passionate about quality, development, and good treatment.

Job Description
As a case officer, you work broadly, independently, and with variety. The role combines qualified legal work with meetings with people and significant personal responsibility.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Processing cases within guardianship, estate administration, and minority guardianship
- Making decisions under delegation and preparing and presenting cases for the board and the district court
- Investigating complaints and following up on representatives, always with the individual's best interests in focus
- Recruiting, introducing, and training guardians and administrators
- Collaborating with other authorities and administrations
- Working with ongoing administration and file management
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for you who want to work with something that is both important and developing.
You have:
- Relevant academic education in law, legal science, or equivalent
- Experience in public administration
- The ability to express yourself clearly and pedagogically – both orally and in writing
- An analytical, structured, and meticulous working style
- A positive attitude, a strong willingness to collaborate, a solution-focused mindset, and a desire to contribute to the development of the operations
You are confident in your profession, have good integrity, and understand the importance of balancing empathy with objectivity. Experience in guardianship activities or work with vulnerable groups is an advantage.
