We are looking for a personal assistant who can work during the summer and preferably continue afterwards. This is a great opportunity for those seeking long-term employment in the care sector.
Start Date:
You should be available to start as early as May.
Working Hours:
The shifts are during daytime and weekends.
About the Client:
You will be working with an elderly lady who has a brain injury and requires significant assistance. However, she can walk with support, and her husband lives in the same house.
Your Responsibilities:
Your main tasks will include assisting with hygiene and meals. You will also help stimulate her daily activities as much as possible, depending on her condition on any given day. The work involves a lot of sitting, but walks may also occur, during which the client will be in a wheelchair.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with great patience and self-confidence. Empathy and the ability to adapt to the client's needs are essential.
