ABOUT THE POSITION

Kura Omsorg is currently seeking dedicated personal assistants for our client in Götene. We are looking for both candidates interested in a temporary position of approximately 1 year at 80–100%, and those interested in an on-call temporary position where you work as needed.

As a personal assistant for our client, you will work 24-hour shifts from 09:00 to 09:00, with waiting time applied during the night.

Start date and introduction are agreed upon individually, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a calm, kind, and humorous woman in her 30s with a twinkle in her eye. She has a great interest in animals, especially horses and dogs, and spends a lot of time in the stable. There is also a dog in the home. She enjoys being creative and crafting, particularly with various creative activities.

The client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism. She usually uses a wheelchair but walks short distances with support when needed and indoors. She can manage some things on her own but needs structure and guidance in most areas.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is patient, calm, and creative, and who can maintain a stable attitude even in more stressful situations. You have the ability to make decisions and work independently, while also being able to plan and create structure to provide the client with a safe and predictable daily life.

The work involves support in all aspects of daily life, such as exercise, personal hygiene, cooking, and household chores. Routines and trust are therefore important parts of the assignment. We place great emphasis on personal chemistry and a warm approach. Experience with epilepsy and other diagnoses is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have common sense, genuine commitment, and a good sense of humor. The client requests female assistants only.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals
• Non-smoker
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Manual driver's license

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with epilepsy

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
