About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible, punctual, sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

  • Previous experience in care/nursing or personal assistance

  • Our customer is primarily looking for a female candidate

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (understanding, speaking, and writing)

  • B-driver's license and access to a car to commute to work

  • Not allergic to fur-bearing animals such as horses and dogs

  • Swimming skills

Merits for the position:

  • Experience in similar work

  • Strongly meritorious is experience working with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) and epilepsy

  • Active and in good physical shape

  • Shares the customer's interests to join them at the stable, go out, swim, etc.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "temporary substitute" with an employment degree of approximately 40%, during the period from May 25, 2026, to August 31, 2027. The position begins with a 1-month hourly employment and then transitions to a temporary substitute contract.

The working hours are as follows:

  • W1: Wednesday 14:30–19:45
  • W2: Tuesday 14:30–20:00, Saturday 09:00–20:00, Sunday 09:00–19:00
  • W3: Wednesday 14:30–19:45
  • W4: Tuesday 14:30–20:00, Saturday 09:00–20:00, Sunday 09:00–19:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start: Immediate start with introduction. Selection is ongoing, so do not wait with your application.
