We are an outpatient clinic for adults with harmful substance use and addiction, as well as their relatives. We work with open interventions in close collaboration with social secretaries and the region's addiction center, located in adjacent premises. Our joint mission is to work according to the national guidelines for the treatment of harmful substance use and addiction, as well as Stockholm County's policy for preventing and treating harmful substance use and addiction.

The clinic consists of eight therapists and two case managers, along with a unit manager. The psychosocial work is divided into different phases: Phase 1 – preparatory treatment, Phase 2 – basic treatment, and Phase 3 – aftercare. Our treatments are based on CBT and 12-step theoretical foundations. Treatment takes place both individually and in groups.

Job Description:

• Individual and group therapy based on CBT theory.
• Other tasks occurring at the clinic.

What we are looking for in you:

• Adequate therapist education deemed suitable by the employer, or a social work degree or equivalent academic education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good experience from working with the treatment of individuals with addiction issues.
• Experience working with group therapy.
• Experience working with individual therapy.

Merits:

• Basic training in CBT, CRA, MI, Relapse Prevention, Controlled Drinking, and Gambling Disorder Treatment.
• Step-1 training.
• Knowledge of municipal social services and experience working in a politically governed organization.
